A recent investigation has debunked the existence of Zarfasha Naqvi, a figure who gained attention on social media following the Karsaz Road accident in Karachi. The account purportedly run by Naqvi, which has stirred controversy with inflammatory remarks about the accident and its victims, has been revealed as fraudulent.
The controversy began when an Instagram account under the name Zarfasha Naqvi emerged, allegedly supporting Natasha Danish—the woman accused of causing the Karsaz Road accident. This account shared several provocative posts, including offensive comments about the victims and their supporters, and depicted lavish party scenes. One notable post included a message under a celebratory photo: “Cheers to those who lost their lives in Natasha’s car accident, RIP cuties.”
The account also boasted about Natasha Danish’s wealth and taunted the impoverished victims of the accident, which has led to significant backlash online. Natasha Danish, the wife of businessman Danish Iqbal, was involved in a fatal collision that claimed multiple lives, with allegations that she was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Recent investigations have exposed the Zarfasha Naqvi Instagram account as a fake. A Reddit post uncovered that the account was using the images of Sub Ailaa, a woman unrelated to the controversy. The individual behind the fake account has been accused of spreading defamatory content, unfairly targeting Ailaa, who has since clarified her disassociation from the scandal.
