Netflix’s newly released show ‘Wednesday’ has been making rounds on social media and people are already talking about its season 2.
The show is currently planted at #1 on Netflix, and no, unlike many recent Netflix series, it is not meant to be a one-off limited series. Here is everything we have found about the sequel of the most trending show ‘Wednesday’, the Addams Family series which focused on its dark daughter played by Jenna Ortega.

Wednesday is a coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror television series based on the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family.
Netflix’s Addams Family series “Wednesday” focuses on Wednesday Addams and her years as a student. According to the official synopsis released by Netflix, the show charts “Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.”
Will there be season 2?
As per reports, more seasons have been planned already. However, ‘planned’ is not equal to ‘will get made’ and Wednesday season 2 has not been renewed by Netflix as of yet. If renewed, it’s expected that Ortega would reprise her role as Wednesday.

Show’s co-showrunner Miles Millar has said in an interview that Wednesday’s family members could be featured more in a second season.

In his recent interview, he said, “We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters and the actors are so amazing in those roles.” He added, “Catherine is, I think, an iconic Morticia. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show, and the idea that Wednesday is trying to forge her own path outside the family is important.”
