The official Euphoria Season 3 trailer has been released by HBO and provides a glimpse into the characters’ lives five years after the events of Season 2.
The new season is set to premiere on April 12, 2026.
The trailer indicates significant changes for the main characters.
The story moves past high school into early adulthood. Showrunner Sam Levinson noted this jump reflects the cast’s real-life aging.
The trailer features a darker, noir-inspired tone with the tagline “The devil always collects”.
Key scenes include an awkward reunion between Rue and Jules in an elevator and Nate working in construction for his father, Cal.
Now living in Mexico, Rue is still pursued by drug dealer Laurie for the unpaid debt from Season 2. Despite her struggles, Rue narrates that she is “beginning to have faith”.
Cassie and Nate are engaged and living in the suburbs. Conflict arises as Cassie works as an adult content creator (OnlyFans-style), which Nate resents.
Jules is attending art school and exploring life as a sugar baby, while Maddy works at a high-profile Hollywood talent agency.
Lexi has moved into the entertainment industry, working as an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.
The season will consist of eight episodes.
Joining the series are Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Barbie Ferreira (Kat), Storm Reid (Gia), and Austin Abrams (Ethan) will not return. The character Ashtray (Javon Walton) remains deceased following the Season 2 finale.
