ISLAMABAD: Turkish drama ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ actor Engin Altan Duzyatan has reportedly cancelled his agreement as brand ambassador with the controversial Blue World City housing society.

The Turkish interior ministry has reportedly informed Duzyatan about Pakistani media reports stating that Blue World City was illegal and legal action had been taken.

The Turkish actor has immediately cancelled his agreement with Blue World City after seeing all reports, claiming that he was unaware of the illegal status the housing society when the agreement was signed.

The housing society’s chairperson had made the announcement on social media along with a picture of them signing the contract and also a picture of Duzyatan’s passport.

Duzyatan is expected to visit Pakistan in October and has signed various agreements due to his rising popularity. Blue World City administration attempted to cash the situation but failed after they were exposed.

Blue World City is facing an allegation of using the Duzyatan’s name for selling plots. Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has also submitted an application at Chontra police station and warned citizens from investing in the housing society.
