Pakistan were dismissed for 171 in their first innings, while England responded with a commanding 409 to establish a massive 238-run advantage.

For Pakistan, Ali Usman claimed five wickets, while Khurram Shahzad picked up three.

Needing to overcome a huge deficit, Pakistan’s batting once again failed to withstand England’s bowling attack and the visitors were bowled out for just 135 in their second innings.

Shan Masood top-scored with 29, while Abdullah Shafique made 15, Saud Shakeel 14, Azan Awais nine and Khurram Shahzad eight. Salman Ali Agha was dismissed for four, while Imam-ul-Haq was out for a duck.

Josh Tong was the pick of England’s bowlers, ripping through Pakistan’s batting order, with Ollie Robinson and the rest of the attack providing strong support.

With Pakistan managing only 171 and 135 in their two innings, England sealed a dominant innings-and-103-run victory and moved 1-0 ahead in the series.
