RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has claimed that the ‘message of Election has been given’ and that the only thing left was to prepare schedule, urging nation to get ready for polls.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Sheikh Rashid said only elections could brought political and economic stability in the country.
Referring to recent statements by federal cabinet ministers regarding Afghanistan , Sheikh Rashid said both the Interior and Foreign Ministers should issue statements with due care. Pak ministers, it may be recalled, had hinted at hot pursuit to hunt down terrorists inside Afghanistan after a recent surge in terror incidents across the country.

Commenting on Bilawal’s viral photo with the flood-affected children, Sheikh Rashid said instead of taking pics, Bilawal should extend helping hands to the flood affected population. He also welcomed the release of 74 year old PTI Senator Azam Swati in a case related to his controversial tweet regarding former Army Chief Gen Bajwa.
Referring to energy conservation measures announced by the federal government the other day, Sheikh Rashid said the poor class of the society should get ready to face hard times, and that the government should take trade bodies into confidence regarding its decision to shut down markets by 8pm.
Lambasting the present Shehbaz-led regime, he said the federal government could neither bring political stability, nor they could face the masses in their respective constituencies. The unpopular decisions taken recently only brought damages to PMLN and its allies, he said, adding that the foreign exchange and stock markets faced massive depreciation while inflation increased manifold.
