ISLAMABAD: Severe earthquake tremors have been felt in the federal capital and various cities of Punjab including Lahore.
Apart from Islamabad and surrounding areas, earthquake tremors were also felt in Gujranwala, Jhelum, Hafizabad, Chicha Watani, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Sialkot, and surrounding areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, earthquake tremors were felt in Swat, Swabi, and surrounding areas. In Azad Kashmir, earthquake tremors were also felt in Muzaffarabad, DhirKot, Samahni, Bagh, Neelam Valley, and surrounding areas.

According to the PMD, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.6, the depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers, the epicenter was East Kashmir, and the earthquake occurred at 1:40 pm.
Due to the earthquake, people came out of their houses and offices in fear, reciting Quranic verses. Apart from this, the Indian media says that earthquake tremors have also been felt in New Delhi. The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in the northern regions of India.
