GENEVA: Earth Hour will be celebrated today for environment protection across the world, including Pakistan, under which the public has been appealed to play their role to promote awareness.
According to the details, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he appealed that all the lights be turned off for one hour tonight at 8 pm. Under Earth Hour, environmental action will be taken on a large scale, he said.
The General Secretary of the United Nations, “We all have to play our role in climate action. I appeal to all the citizens of the world wherever they are to turn off their lights for one hour at 8 pm local time.”
