LOS ANGELES: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was forced to rip off his electric gate from a wall with his bare hands to avoid being late to film scenes for his debut superhero movie.
In an Instagram post, alongside a picture of the gate lying on the ground, the former professional wrestler explained that a storm caused a power outage and the gate at his home would not open.
Johnson shared that he himself wrenched away the gate, hinges and all after being locked inside. He wrote “Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work. And I’m ready to be BLACK ADAM”

He said that he had to go to work and did not want hundreds of crew members working on DC Comics film “Black Adam” waiting for me. He said that after being told a technician would take 45 minutes to arrive, he literally took matters into his own hands.
“I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself,” he continued. “Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass.
He finished his post by saying that he was then “ready to be BLACK ADAM”. The movie is due to be released in cinemas on 24th December, 2021.
