Geert Wilders, the Dutch anti-Islam politician, launched a strong criticism of Pakistan and Bangladesh on Sunday.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations on his victory in the Dutch elections, he revealed that he received numerous messages from India following his party’s success in securing the majority of seats.
In a post on X, Wilders conveyed, “Many kind messages came from #India: I’ll always support Hindus who are attacked or threatened to be killed or prosecuted in Bangladesh, Pakistan, only for being Hindu.”
Thanks so much to all my friends from all over the world who congratulated me on winning the Dutch elections.

On November 22, Wilders and his Freedom Party (PVV) surpassed expectations by winning 37 out of 150 seats in the Dutch parliament, outperforming a Labour/Green coalition and the incumbent Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s conservatives.
The election outcome shocked Dutch Muslims, as Wilders, who had previously advocated for the banning of mosques and the Holy Quran in the Netherlands, emerged victorious. Muhsin Koktas of the Muslim organization CMO remarked, “These election results are shocking for Dutch Muslims. We did not expect such a party with a program that is against the basic principles of the rule of law to be so big.”
Muslims constitute approximately 5% of the Dutch population, which is nearly 18 million people.
