Near Rashid Minhas Road in Karachi, a high-speed dumper overturned onto a car in a traffic accident, completely destroying the vehicle. As a result of the incident, a mother and one of her daughters died, while another daughter was severely injured.
According to details, the tragic accident occurred near Drigh Road, where a woman and a child died on the spot, while another girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition. According to rescue sources, the vehicle was completely destroyed after being crushed under the dumper, and the victims were trapped inside the car.
After the accident, a heavy crane and lifter were called to the scene, through which the dumper was removed from the car and the bodies and injured were extracted. Rescue teams acted promptly to carry out relief operations.
Unfortunately, this is not the first such accident in Karachi caused by an overspeeding dumper. In the past as well, several accidents involving fast-moving dumpers have claimed the lives of citizens. Residents have demanded effective legislation from the current government against dumpers.
