ISLAMABAD: Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has approved a second company for the local production of ventilators in the country.
This was stated by Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry. The drug regulator approved the design of Karachi-based Alsons for the production of ventilators.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the federal minister wrote that one more production line and Pakistan will allow the export of ventilators.

“DRAP has approved the second company for the production of Ventilators, Alsons from Karachi design is approved for commercial production of Vents, one more production line and Pak ll allow export of Ventilators….. Congs Alsons (In Picture: Alsons Ventilator),” Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.
Fawad Chaudhry, earlier this week announced that the electric buses will start running in Pakistan from this year. The full manufacturing of these buses will start in the country within three years.
