Famous Pakistani religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil is being trolled on social media by some people over his alleged hair transplantation. These individuals claim that what the Maulana is doing is not allowed in Islam; however, the truth is different.
According to a fatwa issued by the prominent Pakistani seminary Jamia Uloom-e-Islamia( Allama Muhammad Yusaf Banori Town in Karachi), there is some room for hair transplantation if a person’s hair is used in the process, whether taken from their head or other parts of the body. However, Islam does not allow the use of donated hair, meaning hair taken for transplantation from other people.
Furthermore, Islam also does not permit the use of synthetic hair, such as wigs.
It should be noted that Maulana Tariq Jamil has undergone a hair transplant procedure. A video of the procedure has gone viral on social media. A hair transplant clinic named ‘Hair Transplant Cosmetic Surgeon’ shared several videos on its Facebook page, featuring Maulana Tariq Jamil in conversation with the doctor.
In one of the videos, the hair specialist was seen discussing and examining Maulana Tariq Jameel.
