Did you know ‘Khuda Aur Muhabbat’ writer tried to sue producer for dragging its storyline?

The writer of ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat’ season 3 which finally came to an end this weekend with a very predictable ending, recently made a bizarre statement that he once wanted to sue the show’s producer.

Despite being overly dragged, ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat’ turned out to be a record-breaker. However, its writer Hashim Nadeem was not happy with the way his script was dragged.

In the recent Instagram post, Hashim Nadeem blamed the writer and producer for dragging the drama. According to him, he penned down a 22 episode script. Interestingly the drama ended on its 39th episode.

He wrote that he originally wrote for few episodes but the channel and producer stretched the story by adding a lot of flashbacks in it. He even tried to sue the production house but some friends and colleagues stopped him.

The writer feels that being elaborated by a huge name like Syed Wajahat Hussain, the essence of the story, as well as the soul of the characters, got lost. Iqra Aziz and Feroze Khan played the leading roles of Mahi and Farhaad in the drama.

Besides the leading actors, the show also features Javed Sheikh, Mirza Zain Baig, Junaid Khan, Asma Abbas, Sunita Marshall, Tooba Siddique, Usman Peerzada, Rubina Ashraf, Hina Khwaja Bayat, and Meherbano.
