Haris Waheed, who is a NAPA-trained actor, has been a part of the drama industry for quite some years now.
During an interview, the actor revealed how he went to jail while he was performing in the drama serial Sammi in which his character goes into jail.
So, when the team went to a real-life jail for the shoot, some equipment did not arrive on time. Haris took this opportunity and went into a real jail cell with prisoners in there to experience how it is.
According to Haris, he did it for his own knowledge. He then talked to the incarcerated people there and made a vision of how it feels to be in jail.

Haris Waheed is a Pakistani actor. He is best known for portraying the role of Waqas Jutt in Momina Duraid’s drama serial ‘Sammi’, Zafar in Do Bol, and Ilyas in ‘Udaari’.
All three of which rank as highest rated Pakistani dramas, for which he received numerous accolades and recognition from the audience.
Due to his popularity in Udaari and Sammi, he bagged another role as the antagonist in Bisaat-e-Dil. Later in 2018, he essayed another villain “Sameer” in the serial ‘Tu Jo Nahi’ and ‘Naulakha’.
