Jamata-ul-Rasheed, a respected religious seminary, has denied reports of a gun attack on renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Tariq Masood.
Earlier, some social media reports claimed that Mufti Tariq Masood had reportedly been injured in a suspected gun attack near the Ghaghar Phatak area of Karachi.
The reports claimed that the driver of his vehicle tragically lost his life in the incident.
This news has sent shockwaves through social media, with followers expressing deep concern and offering prayers for Mufti Tariq Masood’s swift recovery.
However, Maulana Muhammad Nadeem, the spokesperson for Jamata-ul-Rasheed, speaking to GTV Digital, denied reports of a shooting involving Mufti Tariq Masood’s car. He clarified that no such incident occurred and confirmed that Mufti Tariq Masood has fully recovered.
Mufti Tariq Masood is widely respected for his insightful lectures, writings, and contributions to Islamic education, with millions of followers online.
Recently, he faced severe backlash following allegations of blasphemy. In response to the controversy, he released a video titled “Mufti Sahab Ki Sareeh Lafzon Mein Mazrat” on YouTube, where he clarified that his earlier remarks had been misunderstood and taken out of context.
