Iran has reportedly held the funeral prayer of Iran’s “martyred leader” and former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in secret.
According to British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, the funeral prayer for Ali Khamenei was conducted in Tehran under tight security on Thursday.
The newspaper said that only his family members and a limited number of government officials attended the ceremony.
However, the report has not yet been independently confirmed by other sources, and there has been no official response from Iranian authorities so far.
It is worth noting that the report also claims Khamenei was killed on 28 February during initial attacks on Iran carried out by the United States and Israel, along with several members of his family.
The report further alleges that several senior Iranian military commanders and advisers were also killed, including Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, and Major General Mohammad Pakpour.
