ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that it has now become clear that despite getting bail in all cases, the ruling coalition government of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) wanted to arrest him, and that his arrest and operation at Zaman Park is part of London Plan to bring absconder Nawaz Sharif to power as quid pro quo for agreeing to one appointment.

Islamabad had already been turned into a ‘contained city’ after hundreds of containers were placed to portray a wall type structure from Motorway to Judicial Complex.
In the midst of all of these, the federal capital police resorted to tear gas shelling to disperse PTI workers at Motorway, while those present around the Judicial Complex were rounded up too.
In Lahore, a heavy contingent of police accompanied by Anti-Riot Force and anti-encroachment team raided Zaman Pak residence of Imran Khan and made several arrests as well as rooting out camps.

Earlier, taking to Twitter on Saturday, Khan said “it is now clear that, despite my having gotten bail in all my cases, the PDM govt intends to arrest me. Despite knowing their malafide intentions, I am proceeding to Islamabad & the court because I believe in rule of law. But ill intent of this cabal of crooks should be clear to all.”

He further said “it is also obvious now that the entire siege of Lahore was not about ensuring I appear before the court in a case but was intended to take me away to prison so that I am unable to lead our election campaign.”
