Darren Gough, a former England fast bowler and ex-Managing Director of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, has been named the head coach of Lahore Qalandars.
The team management expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to appoint Darren Gough as our head coach. He will start his duties with the team in the upcoming Global Super League.”
Gough shared his excitement about joining the Qalandars, saying, “It’s an honor to work with Lahore Qalandars. I have previously supported their Player Development Program in Lahore, and I look forward to this new role.”
Sameen Rana, the team’s COO, welcomed Gough, noting, “We are excited to have Darren on board, and his experience will significantly strengthen our foundation.”
Gough will meet the squad in Guyana on November 23, just ahead of the Global Super League, which begins on November 26.
