KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is reported to have arrested prime suspect involved in the murder of a Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) inspector.
The KMC inspector Muhammad Ali was shot dead in the Garden area of Karachi inMay this year, while he was at the KMC’s encroachment office.

According to CTD spokesperson, the suspect has been identified as Salman alias Bakla who murdered inspector Muhammad Ali in Garden, Karachi. The raid was conducted in Ranchor Line.
CTD officials have already taken three murder suspects into custody. The investigations are underway with the arrested culprit.
It may be recalled that in June this year, local police claimed arresting Ibrahim Topi, the alleged mastermind behind the assassination of Head Clerk Muhammad Ali.
City Zone SSP had told media that Ibrahim Topi was a KMC sub-inspector, and the victim and the arrested accused had a quarrel about posting and taking charge.
