Wail Faisal, a right-handed batsman, said that it has been 4 years since he started playing cricket, while from last one year he has associated with MZ Cricket Academy. “My father helped me a lot in learning cricket. When I came to play a match in MZ, I saw that this academy is very good, here the instructor Zahid Bhai is teaching the children very good cricket, while now I have been in this academy for one year,” he added.
When MM News asked about his favorite cricketers, Wail Faisal said that his favorite player is Virat Kohli, a very aggressive batsman. “I don’t think anyone else has such emotions in cricket. Virat Kohli’s cover drive can hardly be hit by anyone else in the world, his confidence is so good,” he answered.
What is your betting style? On this, Wail Faisal said: “I am a right-handed batsman, my job initially is to hit fours in the powerplay, or to rotate the strike. I look at the situation of the match and try to play my part when runs are not being scored and boundaries are needed.”
When we asked him what are his thoughts about cricket, he said that cricket is very boring, it makes you cry a lot but at the same time cricket is a very good game. “Today’s parents are not focusing so much on cricket, kids are more involved in video games, I would like to advise them to get into cricket as much as possible, it is a good activity.”
Which is your favorite PSL team? On this question Wail Faisal said that he likes PSL a lot, while his favorite team is Peshawar Zalmi and favorite batsmen are AB de Villiers and Babar Azam.
When we asked to him that if Karachi and Lahore Qalandars faced off, who would you support? He said that out of these two teams, he supports Karachi Kings, the match of both is very interesting.
Which bowler gives more tough time to the batsman, the spinner or the fast bowler? On this, Wail Faisal said that most fast bowlers trouble the batsman, while the spinner is also not so easy to play.
Who is your favorite fellow cricketer? On the he said that Mohammad Aqil and Mohammad Rohan. “They both are with me, both of them are my favorite fellow cricketers.”
