COVID-19 cases jump to 4,792 in Pakistan

Sindh, KP reports new coronavirus cases
KARACHI: The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have jumped to 4,792 in Pakistan after more 284 new cases were reported from different cities on Friday night.
According to the national dashboard statics, the total number of COVID-19 cases have 7,792 during the 24 hours.
Punjab has the highest number of the disease up to 2,336, 1,214 in Sindh, 656 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 220 in Balochistan, 215 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 118 in Islamabad and 33 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The health officials have conducted 54,706 coronavirus tests across the country,  including 2,478 today, while, at least 727 patients recovered from the disease, 45 still at critical condition.
Total deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 25, Sindh: 22, Balochistan: 02, Gilgit-Baltistan: 03, Punjab: 18, Islamabad Capital Territory: 01.
According to latest figures, the worldwide number of officially confirmed fatalities from the novel COVID-19 now stands at above 90,000.
More than 1.5 million declared cases have been reported in 212 countries and territories since the pandemic first emerged in China in December 2019.
