WASHINGTON: Around the world, the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday killed more than 451,383 people and infected over 8,405,632.
According to the latest data, 4,415,785 patients have recovered from the pandemic so far. Over 553,301 people have infected while 7,478 people died of the virus in Russia. The country has the third-highest number of recorded infections in the world.
In the United States, nearly 2,234,471 cases were confirmed, including more than 119,941 deaths. India has reported 367,264 cases while 12,262 deaths due to the coronavirus.
The United Kingdom has reported 42,153 fatalities and 299,251 infections. Spain has recorded 27,136 fatalities and 291,763 infections.
Peru has reported 240,908 cases while 7,257 deaths. Italy has 34,448 fatalities, while 237,828 infections.
Meanwhile, the death toll is 9,185 in Iran as the confirmed number of cases is almost 195,051. Germany has reported 8,927 deaths and 190,179 infections.
Turkey reported 182,727 coronavirus cases and 4,861 fatalities. France has reported 29,575 deaths, and 158,174 cases.
China has declared 4,634 deaths and 83,293 cases, with 78,394 recoveries. In Belgium, 9,675 people succumbed to the disease while reported 60,244 cases due to the coronavirus.
Mexico has reported 19,080 deaths and 159,793 cases. Canada reported 8,254 fatalities and 99,853 infections due to coronavirus.
Israel has reported 19,783 coronavirus cases while 303 deaths. Saudi Arabia has reported 141,234 cases of coronavirus, while 1,091 coronavirus deaths have been reported.
