ISLAMABAD: The court has decided to stop the police from arresting PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on the condition of his surrender.
According to the details, the Tosha Khana case against Imran Khan was heard in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad. Judge Zafar Iqbal remarked that if Imran Khan surrenders, he orders the IG not to arrest him.
The case is still being heard. At the beginning of the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris read out the Islamabad High Court’s decision to uphold the warrant. The judge said that the decision of the High Court has not yet been received by the Sessions Court through the judicial process.

The judge said the problem could be solved in a second. Imran Khan appeared in the court in his personal capacity. Lawyer Khawaja Haris gave arguments and said that is it necessary to arrest Imran Khan and bring him to court. The court remarked that we want Imran Khan to come to court.
The court inquired why Imran Khan is not coming. According to the law, Imran Khan had to cooperate, not resist. If the warrants were bailable, there was no problem. Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that Imran Khan himself wanted to come to court.
The trial is still ongoing. The lawyers of Imran Khan requested to suspend the arrest warrant. The lawyer said that Imran Khan wants to give an undertaking that Sessions will appear in court on March 18.
