ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that cooperation of Parliament and judiciary is essential in taking major steps against extremism.
In a Twitter message, Fawad Chaudhry wrote that the biggest reason behind terrorism is extremism, making extremism an enemy weapon, extremism is the result of not playing the role of the pulpit, school, and police station.

“The Peshawar blast is part of a larger conspiracy. We have fought such conspiracies in the past. Inshallah, the enemies of Pakistan will still fail,” he tweeted.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said regarding the blast in the mosque of Peshawar that no threat alert was issued regarding the blast, foreign forces want to destroy the peace of Pakistan.
Sheikh Rasheed strongly condemned the Peshawar blast and said that a report on the blast has been sought from the Chief Secretary and IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that the Peshawar blast was an attempt to destabilize Pakistan under a conspiracy.

It should be noted that 30 people were martyred and more than 50 were injured in a suicide blast during Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid of Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Emergency has been declared in the hospitals after the incident and rescue teams have been dispatched to the spot while security agencies have also reached the affected mosque.
