Vadodara: Clashes broke out between Hindu and Muslim communities during a Hindu procession in Vadodara city in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The clashes erupted after Hindus attacked the houses and a mosque during their religious procession in Panigate Darwaza in the communally sensitive Mandvi locality at around 11.15 pm on Monday.
The participants of the procession pelted stones at the houses of the Muslims. In the stone pelting the window of a mosque was broken.

The police have so far detained 13 people in connection with the clash, officials said, adding that no one was injured in the stone pelting.
They said that security in the area has been intensified following the incident.
