RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt General Faiz Hameed called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The meeting discussed the country’s overall situation and matters related to the neighbouring countries.
Last week, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa had visited the National Command and Control Center (NCOC), the national dashboard-established for COVID-19 response, earlier.

During the visit of the premier and the COAS, DG Operations and Planning NCOC Major General Asif Mehmood Goraya gave a briefing about the current situation of the coronavirus pandemic across the country.
Both the leaders were also briefed about the steps taken to curb the spread of the COVID-19. Major Gen Asif also highlighted the supply and management strategies for vaccination against coronavirus.
PM Khan appreciated the efforts of the NCOC to prevent corona. He also lauded the efforts of the provinces and others to save COVID-19.
