PUNJAB: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Friday directed a detailed probe into the death of a coronavirus patient at Lahore’s Mayo Hospital in tragic situation.
Taking to official Twitter account of Punjab government quoted the chief minister as saying that “Strict action will be taken if anyone found guilty and said that the Expert Corona Group will probe the matter”.

A man infected by the coronavirus died in Lahore on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths to four in the Punjab and 10 nationwide in the country.
According to sources, the latest victim was a 70-year-old patient, Muhammad Hanif, a resident of Sheikhupura – who died in a washroom of Mayo Hospital.
According to sources, none of the staff members in the isolation ward even touched the patient who continued shouting for help.
Sources further added that patient was tied with the bed during the night after being shifted to the hospital due to respiratory problems.
