‘Citadel 2’ to ‘Andhera’: All Indian series coming to Amazon Prime for Pakistanis in 2024

This year, Amazon Prime Video has a lineup of the biggest Indian releases starring Bollywood A-listers such as Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Johar’s directional featuring Ananya Panday.

Amazon Prime Video has revealed around 69 Indian titles for the 2024 slate with some new and some returning series.

These titles will include Stree 2 which will be available post-theatrical release, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Housefull 5, and Anil Kapoor starrer ‘Subedaar’. Let’s have a look at the notable content that will be released this year:

1) Citadel Honey Bunny

Set in the 1990s, Citadel’s sequel stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Varun Dhawan Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, and Shivankit Singh Parihar.  The first part of the series featured Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden.

2) Khauf

Khauf is a psychological-supernatural thriller that revolves around the life of a woman, who moves into a room in Delhi, unaware of what has happened there before.

As spine-chilling incidents take place one after the other, the young woman must fight the evil outside and within.

Directed by Pankaj Kumar, the series features Monika Panwar, Rajat Kapoor, and Abhishek Chauhan.

 3) Matka King

Set against the backdrop of the 1960s in Mumbai, the Vijay Varma starrer series revolves around a cotton trader, who in his greed for respect starts a gambling game called Matka.

4) The Rana Connection

This Telugu talk show is hosted by actor Rana Daggubati and promises interesting line-up of guests and conversations. The show is backed by Rana’s banner Spirit Media Pvt Ltd and has Rajeev Ranjan and Prashanth Potluri credited as producers.

5) Call Me Bae

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic, this show stars Ananya Panday, Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada and Varun Sood.

As per the description of the show: ‘Downsized from heiress to hustler, Bae discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self.’

6) Andhera 

Andhera is an urban horror tale in which a police officer and a haunted medical student are on a quest to stop the spread of darkness and evil.

The horror drama series features Prajakta Koli, Karanvir Malhotra, Surveen Chawla, and Vatsal Sheth.

7) Daring Partners 

Daring Partners features the tale of two best friends who embark on a risky journey as partners in an alcohol start-up.

The series unfolds its audacious journey within a male-dominated industry. The series will feature Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty, and Jaaved Jaaferi.

8) Cheekati Lo

Cheekati Lo is a gripping investigative crime thriller that follows the relentless journey of a determined young woman as she unravels the disturbing truth behind a serial rapist.

9) Dil Dosti Dilemma  

Asmara’s summer takes an unexpected turn when she is sent to her grandparents’ neighbourhood as a form of punishment. To maintain appearances with her friends, she pretends to be in Canada.

Dil Dosti Dilemma features Anushka Sen, Tanvi Azmi, Shishir Sharma, Suhasini Mulay, Khush Jotwani, Vishakha Pandey, Revathi Pillai, and Elisha Mayor.

10) Bandwaale

Bandwaale focuses on the life of Mariam, a young poetess, who finds herself trapped in a sleepy town where every young girl’s future lies in her marriage.

She hopes to find freedom by uploading her poetry on the internet with the help of her band of misfits — a brass band singer and a new age.

The series features Shalini Pandey, Zahaan Kapoor, Swanand Kirkire, Sanjana Dipu, and Ashish Vidhyarthi.
