KARACHI: A 24-year-old Christian named Stephanie Daniel has died of her injuries after being injured in a murder attack in the capital city.
The late woman was the daughter of Richard Daniel, a resident of Mehmoodabad. According to a report issued by the local church, she was assaulted by unknown people after returning home from the UK.
Stephanie Daniel suffered serious injuries in the attack, while the head injury proved fatal. Even before this, Christian gospel singer Stephanie Daniel was almost assassinated by motorcycle-riding extremists on July 16, 2023, last year while she was traveling in a car near Iqra University in the Baloch Colony area.
Stephanie Daniel and her father Richard Daniel were seriously injured in the incident. Despite repeated requests to the police, due to no action against the miscreants, Richard Daniel took his daughter Stephanie Daniel to Britain, but Stephanie Daniel returned to Pakistan a few days ago and upon her arrival in Karachi, Mahmoodabad area. Stephanie Daniel died of her injuries after being assaulted during the trip.
Earlier, some extremists had violently attacked the wife of Richard Daniel in 2006, in which Stephanie’s pregnant mother was killed and her unborn child also died.
