LAHORE: The city of Chakwal got the world’s biggest Truck Art wall following the initiatives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chakwal, Capt (Retd) Bilal Hashim in collaboration with Pakistan’s creative art organization, Phool Patti.
The beautiful wall is located in the downtown area, Tehsil Chowk in Chakwal, and is ready to welcome visitors with a fascinating sight. The organization kicked off the project in Ramzan and achieved the feat of painting the world’s biggest Truck Art wall within a month.
The wall painting features Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and philosopher, Allama Iqbal. Some of the highlights of the wall painting are cultural games like Tent Pegging and Bull Cart Race. It also paid a rich tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
In this regard, organization’s founder Ali Salman said that the painting entirely depicts the culture, tradition, and flora, and fauna of Chakwal city. Meanwhile, DC Chakwal said he hopes that the biggest Truck Art Wall will attract local and foreign tourists to the city generating employment for the local population.
Phool Patti organization has worked with overseas Pakistani communities and diplomatic missions to promote the soft image of Pakistan. UNESCO had the organization as the best Creative Entrepreneur of Pakistan.
