Islamabad: Cement prices in Pakistan continue to remain elevated, with the cost of a 50kg bag varying across brands and regions, adding to the financial burden on the country’s construction sector.
According to the latest market survey for June 2026, the price of a 50kg cement bag ranges between Rs1,350 and Rs1,570, while the average retail price stands between Rs1,390 and Rs1,450.
Among the leading manufacturers, Maple Leaf Cement is currently the most expensive, with a 50kg bag selling for around Rs1,570. Lucky Cement is priced between Rs1,500 and Rs1,540, while Bestway Cement is available in the range of Rs1,430 to Rs1,570.
Fauji Cement is retailing between Rs1,440 and Rs1,540, followed by DG Khan Cement (DGKC), which is available for Rs1,440 to Rs1,480 per bag.
Meanwhile, Pakcem Cement is being sold at Rs1,430 to Rs1,560, while Paidar Cement remains among the relatively lower-priced brands, with rates ranging from Rs1,380 to Rs1,505.
The continued high cement prices are expected to keep construction costs under pressure, affecting both private housing projects and large-scale infrastructure developments. Industry observers say regional demand, transportation expenses, production costs and market conditions continue to influence retail prices across the country.
