Dogar that the federal government was targeting him for registering terrorism cases against two federal ministers at Greentown police station in Lahore. The CCPO Lahore alleged that he registered case against federal ministers Maryiam Aurangzeb and Javed Latif on merit, due to which he was being victimized. He went on to say that he was never given any reason or the notice before issuing the suspension order.
In his petition, Ghulam Muhammad Dogar argued that the Chief Minister Punjab had the authority to remove him from the current post, and the same asked him to continue.
He also claimed that the federal government had attacked the autonomy of Punjab by issuing such an order (to suspend him).
The CCPO Lahore prayed to the LHC that the suspension and transfer notification of the federal government be declared null and void.
