ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar will preside over the federal cabinet meeting today, during which the political and economic situation of the country will be discussed.
According to the details, the meeting of the caretaker federal cabinet chaired by caretaker Anwar ul Haq Kakar will be held this evening at the Prime Minister House during which the recent wave of terrorism in the country will be discussed.
In the federal cabinet meeting presided over by Anwar ul Haq Kakar, important decisions against terrorism are expected, while proposals to improve the law and order situation in the country will also be discussed.
It should be noted that in the earlier meeting of the federal cabinet, a decision could not be taken to give relief to consumers in electricity bills.

Even in the cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, a decision could not be taken to give free electricity to the employees of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and Power Distribution Companies (DISCOs).
The Cabinet directed the Energy Division to devise a mechanism for relief in electricity bills. In the Cabinet meeting, the issue of outsourcing Islamabad Airport was entrusted to the Steering Committee.
