Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau – wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Canadian PM’s office said in a statement, “Prime Minister’ wife was tested for coronavirus today (Friday), and the test came back positive.”
The statement said, “She will remain in isolation for time being. She is feeling well and taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild.”
Referring to Canadian PM’s health, the statement said, “Prime Minister is in good health and has no symptoms so far. As a precautionary measure, he will be in isolation for a planned period of 14 days.”
The statement further said, “He will continue to fully assume his duties and will address Canadians tomorrow.”
After returning from Britain, PM’s wife’s symptoms include a low fever last night. She immediately sought medical advice and testing.
