ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad today, the meeting was postponed three times before.
According to sources, the current political, economic, and security situation of the country will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s Office at 12 pm. The cabinet will consider the four-point agenda in the meeting.
Sources also said that the issue of the letter of Islamabad High Court judges will also be discussed in the meeting.
In its first meeting on March 28, the federal cabinet had given the go-ahead to include the names of 24 people in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The name of PTI leader Babar Awan has been removed from the list. His name was included in the list in December 2023 due to the Al-Qadir Trust case. 22 more names will also be removed from the list.
