In Nowshera’s PK-63, a rush of voters was witnessed at various polling stations and the voting process remained peaceful during the by-elections. According to unofficial results, PML-N’s Ikhtiyar Wali has won by securing 21,122 votes. He was followed by PTI’s Mian Umar Kakakhel, who bagged 17,023 votes.
The seat had fallen vacant after the death of PTI MPA Mian Jamsheduddin, who had died of COVID-19. PPP, JUI-F and Qaumi Watan Party supported PML-N candidate Ikhtiar Wali against PTI candidate Omar Kakakhel and ANP’s Wajahatullah.
