Bushra Ansari slams society's double standard on couple's age gap

Bushra Ansari, a veteran actress has called out societal double standards on married couple’s age gap.

Ansari’s personal life is getting a lot of attention after her recent revelation about getting married last year and revealing it this year.

The actress got divorced from her first husband, Iqbal Ansari in 2014 and married Iqbal Hussain in 2023. The actress is older than her husband and this became an issue in Eastern society.

Ansari was called out for marrying Iqbal Hussain at the age of 66, although the age gap between the couple is not known yet. However, the actress did not back out from fighting such backward thinking of society.

She reshared Instant Bollywood’s video featuring the Indian actor, Milind Soman with his wife, Ankita Konwar. The video highlighted the 26-year age difference between the two and has garnered 5.5 million views.

Sharing the video on her Instagram story, the actress wrote: “It’s nothing new.. So it’s ok for a man to!! Hay na ?? Hahahaha.”
