A brave housewife in Taru Jabba, Nowshera, successfully defended her family against armed robbers, killing one of them on the spot, while the other three fled.
Local police said the robbers, armed and dangerous, scaled the walls of a house in the WAPDA colony and held the family hostage. In an act of quick thinking, the woman fired at the robbers, killing one immediately.
The deceased suspect, identified as Rehman from Aman Kot, was found dead at the scene. The remaining robbers escaped before the police arrived.
Nowshera police have launched a search operation to apprehend the fleeing suspects, and a case has been registered.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to a local hospital for further legal procedures. It should be noted that in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, women are also well-trained to use firearms in times of emergency or need.
