LONDON: Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to step down as prime minister following the resignations of 57 members and continued political pressure.
According to international media reports, senior Conservative leader Tom Tugendhat has announced that he will run for prime minister. He recently said in a statement that after serving in the army and parliament, he would now serve as prime minister.
It should be noted that Boris Johnson also resigned from the leadership of the Conservative Party after resigning from the post of Prime Minister, however, he will fulfill his responsibilities until the election of a new leader.
