BonBird, a popular fried chicken restaurant from Dubai, is set to make its debut in Pakistan this December with its first branch opening in Lahore.
The local franchise partner, Eat Brands, announced that it holds exclusive rights to bring BonBird to Pakistan. Over the next three years, 12 branches will be launched in various cities, with an investment of over $5 million.
BonBird, known for its all-American style and modern take on fried chicken, prides itself on serving chicken that is free from hormones, antibiotics, and preservatives.
The menu features crispy fried chicken, melts, rice bowls, burgers, and wraps. Zarrar Mustapha, founder of Eat Brands, expressed the goal of competing with major fast-food chains in Pakistan by prioritizing quality and customer service.
This expansion is part of a collaboration between Yolk Brands, BonBird’s parent company, and Eat Brands, which is also behind successful ventures in Pakistan like Eggspectation and Cue Cinemas.
Other than BonBird, Yolk Brands, with up to 400 employees, is also behind the burger joint Pickl, the South Pour roastery and juice bar and cafe and deli 1762. The company currently operates in four markets, with 40 restaurants running and 14 more in the design and construction pipeline, including four set to launch this year.
