Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan who has turned 58th today has treated his fans with the release of Jawan’s extended version on Netflix, after almost two months of its successful theatre release.
On Thursday midnight, Netflix took to its official social media handles and dropped a video announcing that the movie is now streaming on the online streaming platform. The video begins with Shah Rukh Khan in his Jawan character when he warns Netflix to release the Atlee directorial in two minutes or else “Your ‘Tudum’ will be ‘budum’.

As the OTT platform agrees to his demand, the superstar then says, “A gift for you on my birthday. Watch Jawan streaming on Netflix.” In the caption of the video, Netflix specified that an extended version of Jawan has been released on OTT. “Birthday Jawan ka hai par gift sab ke liye We’re good to go! Jawan (the extended cut) is now streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, only on Netflix,” the caption read.
Released in September this year, Jawan besides Shah Rukh Khan stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The film which was released in September was widely loved by all and crossed over Rs 1100 crore mark at the global box office. The OTT rights of Jawan were later bagged by Netflix for a staggering amount of Rs 250 crore.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Dunki whose teaser will also be released today. Besides this, SRK is also likely to make a special appearance in ‘Tiger 3’ in the same way that Salman Khan’s Tiger appeared in Pathaan.
