ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has decided to go to Saudi Arabia with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as Foreign Minister.
PPP sources said that Bilawal Bhutto is keen to go to Saudi Arabia as Foreign Minister. PPP sources said that Asif Ali Zardari is also likely to meet Bilawal Bhutto as Prime Minister in which the political strategy will be considered.
It is to be noted that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today announced to take oath as Federal Minister. He is likely to be made Foreign Minister. Bilawal Bhutto made the announcement regarding the swearing-in of the Federal Minister while addressing a press conference after the meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee.
Bilawal Bhutto was also present when the initial members of the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the oath. The PML-N had assured that the PPP would be given the post of Foreign Minister and initially Hina Rabbani Khar was appointed Minister of State for External Affairs.
If Bilawal Bhutto is appointed, he will become the youngest person to become Pakistan’s foreign minister.
