Pakistani singer Bilal Saeed has issued clarification over a viral social media video, saying that the short clip was taken out of context and created a misleading impression.
A video of Bilal Saeed and Aima Baig strolling in London recently circulated online, with internet users speculating the two were intoxicated with alcohol.
Some social media users also commented on Aima Baig’s outfit, while others alleged that the two singers appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants.
Responding to the allegations in a video statement, Bilal Saeed said they were in London solely for the shooting of their upcoming music project and that the viral clip did not reflect the full situation.

He pointed out that a closer look at the video clearly shows coffee cups in their hands.
Bilal further said that people should avoid being judgmental without evidence. He questioned whether anyone had actually seen them intoxicated or noticed any clear signs that could support such claims.
Blasting his critics, Bilal argued that he does not need lessons on how to represent Pakistan, pointing toward his musical achievements and saying that he has proudly promoted the country’s image worldwide through his music for many years and will continue to do so.
He also argued that those who recorded and shared the video without their consent should be held accountable.
