Law enforcers on Saturday foiled a terror bid by defusing a bomb planted to blow up a railway track in Hyderabad district of Sindh province.
A bomb was planted at Sehrish Nagar Crossing in Hyderabad, the bomb disposal squad said, adding that it was an improvised explosive device (IED) and was defused.
All major trains from Karachi scheduled to hit the track in the evening were stopped at the Kotri railway station, police said.
