LAHORE: The Indian Cricket Board has refused to play the Asia Cup on the hybrid model of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
According to the Indian media, BCCI did not agree to play on the hybrid model and the cricket board also denied the news of accepting the hybrid model.
In this regard, the Indian media said that the BCCI wants to shift the Asia Cup to a neutral place, and the Indian Cricket Board wants the tournament to be shifted to Sri Lanka.
Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah said that he will hold discussions with the members to prepare the future plan for the Asia Cup.

It should be noted that the news had come out earlier that the Indian Cricket Board has agreed to play the Asia Cup under Pakistan’s hybrid model.
Under the hybrid model, it was revealed that 4 matches of the Asia Cup would be held in Pakistan and the rest at neutral venues.
