July has been a great month for cinemas and movie lovers as remarkable films had a global theatrical release making almost everyone watch the movies.
The three most anticipated movies were released in July apart from other movies. On July 15, ‘Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One’ was released and later after a week, Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ and Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ had their theatrical release.
‘Barbie’ took in a massive $93 million in its second weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday. ‘Oppenheimer’ stayed in second with a robust $46.2 million. Sales for the two movies dipped 43% and 44%, respectably — well shy of the usual week-two drops.
