SHC upholds death sentence of MQM activists in Baldia factory fire case

The primary suspects in Baldia factory fire case, named as Abdul Rehman and Zubair, have changed their earlier statements.
As per details, Abdul Rehman admitted that at the time of the incident he was in charge of MQM Baldi sector but was not involved in the case. Zubair claimed that he does not know if someone set the fire or not.
Abdul Rehman and Zubair changed their statements during the hearing of the case in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
Meanwhile, the court heard a petition claiming that as per the announcement, the families of the victims were not paid Rs 560 million.
The Court adjourned the hearing till February 19 and sought a response from Secretary EOBI.
