Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, the beloved actor and cricketer, have joyously revealed that they are expecting their first child in 2025.
They shared the exciting news on Instagram with a touching message that stated, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” along with images of little baby feet and an evil eye charm.
Athiya included a white heart emoji in her announcement, receiving affectionate reactions from friends, family, and colleagues in the industry in the comments section.
Speculations regarding Athiya’s pregnancy first emerged in April when her father, actor Suniel Shetty, humorously referred to himself as “nana” (grandfather) on a dance reality show.

At that time, a source clarified that the rumors were unfounded, indicating that Suniel’s comment had been misinterpreted.
KL Rahul and Athiya started their relationship in 2019 after being introduced by a mutual friend.
The couple exchanged vows in 2023 at Suniel’s Khandala farmhouse, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
