It’s like living in the year 2020 once again as actress Hania Aamir and singer Asim Azhar are trending once again on social media, this time for different reasons.

Why Hania Aamir is trending?

It all started last week when the video of Hania Aamir with Aashir and Nayel Wajahat, sons of famous film director Wajahat Rauf stirred controversy on social media. In the viral video, Hania was seen lying on Aashir’s chest and singing his song ‘Kyun’ along with the Wajahat brothers. She later deleted her video but it was too late as many accused her of exhibiting “vulgarity and indecency” for attention.

Later, Hania Aamir did a live session on Instagram with the audience. During a live session, she angrily shut down the live session after a man did unbelievingly disturbing with her picture and showed it during her Instagram live session.

The incident was enough to break bubbly Hania and she expressed how she is going through a mental breakdown through an Instagram story, “Just another day surviving in a misogynist world where double standards have power over innocence and where coexisting with a difference of opinion is not a thing,” Hania wrote. Where a man trying to belittle a woman is applauded but if a woman does the same she is hated. Where a woman showing affection to her loved ones is wrong but a man ejaculating on a woman’s picture on video on the internet is retweeted and made viral content,” she posted.

Asim Azhar steps in

Hania was being mercilessly trolled on social media when Asim Azhar sent a mysterious tweet saying ‘Bal bal bach gaya’. However, he did not tag Hania but social media users aligned his tweet with her.

Here comes Hania’s reply

Hania has who was already facing backlash since Friday over her video with Aashir, took to Twitter and posted, “You can either be a celebrity or a bitter ex with no dignity” Hania tweeted this a day after Asim Azhar’s post.

This once again stirred controversy as she earlier denied that they were dating and now all of a sudden, she posts and uses the word ‘ex’ in it.

Asim strikes back

In no time, Asim was facing backlash over his alleged insensitive ‘bal bal bach gaya’ remarks people thought its the wrong tweet at the wrong time. According to him, he is raged about how people constantly bullied him by talking about him everywhere they could have. “I stayed silent for a whole year and a half and now my one post has hurt people’s sentiments?” he asserted in a post shared on his social media account.

He also cleared how his post has nothing to do with anyone or anything related to the current situation (Hania Aamir’s being trolled for getting close to Aashir Wajahat). Hinting indirectly at Hania, he said, now doing everything, such people are playing a victim card here, there is a limit of hypocrisy, he said with a smiling emoji.
